The young man drove in a somewhat decrepid looking jeep. He didn't have money, for he lived at an orphanage until they let him get his own apartment for the time being. They checked in about every hour it seemed like. But he took a deep breath and looked at the clock. 7:05....A little later then he would have liked to been, but still, he was coming. He picked up his ceel phone, glancing at the number and dialing it, with occasional glances up at the road. He dialed and pushed the green send button. He put it to his ear and got her voicemail. (sorry for the pp..just this once..)) and left a message. Short and sweet and to the point.
Hey Syriana...It's Chase. I'm pretty close and just wanted to let you know. I'll be there in about five minutes. Sorry for being so late, but I guess I'll see you in a few.
He said, then took it away from his ear and pushed the red button, tossing it to the side. It landed on the floor on the other side and he swore lightly, reaching over and grabbing it. He got it easily and sat back up, still managing to drive safely. He put it in the middle and pulled into Sunnydale Acres. He followed her addressa and found her trailer easily. It seemed to be the nicest out of all of them. But he didn't care. SO what..she lived in a trailer, he lived in an orphanage for a lot of his life. He took a deep breath and parked, hoping she wouldn't be turned off by the state of his jeep. It was navy, and it worked, so he didn't really care. BUt now all of a sudden he did. He stepped out and closed the door, stopping a moment and making sure he looked decent. He wore faded jeans and adidas sneakers, with a white tee and a navy one over it. He didn't wear a hat for once and he now strolled up to the door, knocking lightly and waiting patiently.

Music consumed the silence of the bathroom, dancing slightly as she finished her preparations for the night. She wanted to look nice, but not over dress which was almost impossible with the small variety of clothes in her closet. Golden mane was worn in waves, tumbling just passed her shoulders, eyes intensified by a thin coat of mascara and eyeliner. The selection of her apparel was a bit more difficult choice, fingering through different shirts and jeans until one seemed suitable for the evening. She had no idea where he planned to take her, which made it slightly harder for a perfect decision. She kept traveling from her room to the bathroom, the distance between them was little but it soon grew frustrating because she was worrying so much about her appearance.
The equally spaced rings from her phone was covered by the music, the voicemail faint in the distance was heard because her ears were trained to pick it up over her music. Why she had not noticed the rings was questionable, lean frame nearly sprinting as she heard his reply attempting to catch him before he hung up. Fingertips curled around it and clicked the green button only to recieve a dial tone, she missed him. The message replayed through her mind sub consciously, 'Five minutes? Oh shit!!!' She scrambled back to her room, slipping into the outfit she has selected only moments before. It was a blue-green baby tee, that had baby eeyore on it his tail had fallen off, the words were easily read saying 'Shake it... Don't break it.' Jeans were low-rise hip huggers, belt loops sporting a pure white belt, shoes just casual etnies she had purchased awhile before.
She paused and tuned in to assure that she heard someone rapping on the door lightly, once positive she rushed back to her mirror. She completely the few last second touch-ups she believed she needed and switched off the music before heading out to the living room. Fingers snagged her purse and keys on the way automatically as she walked passed them, inhaling deeply before she reached for the handle and twisted it. The hinges moved willingly as she pulled the door inward, stepping out beside him with her cell phone in her back pocket.
"Hey Chase."

He heard the faint sound of music from inside of her trailer and he leaned against the rail a bit, waiting easily. He heard the music being switched off and he stood, wanting to greet her upright. As he saw her appear, he smiled brightly and stepped aside so she could come out.
Hey..you look nice. How are you?
His voice was caring and calm, and low and almost soothing. He was a nice guy and hated hurting people who didn't deserve it. He watched her a moment and then shifted slightly. He gazed over at his jeep and then back to her.
Ready?

Lips released a slight giggle, smiling as his compliment as she stepped next to him. Hand pulled the front door closed behin her, key inserted into the lock and twisted to help prevent a break in. She had been robbed before and would not trust this neighborhood completely, as would she anywhere else. Tongue ran across her lips as she sub consciously observed his outfit outside of work, approving of his style mentally.
"Umm... thanks. I'm Pretty good for almost dying this morning."
She smirked and closed the screen door after she stepped away slightly, purse draped over her shoulder as she nodded to his next question then headed down the sidewalk where his navy blue jeep was parked. She cared little about the type or appearance of one's car, only whether or not it got them from place A to place B. That's what cars are ment for right? Transportation. The smile never faded from her lips, eyes traveling back to him to be sure he was following.

She seemed to be filled with energy and he was already enjoying her presence. He figured they would go out to dinner first, and then maybe a stroll on the beach, if she wanted to. It was up to her though, and he had another surprise for the evening. It was the best part, or at least he thought so. He laughed slightly at her words.
Right...I'm sorry...
He said and looked down, going to his jeep and opening the passenger side door for her, smiling brightly and watching her bounce over to the jeep. He really hoped she didn't mind his jeep, but figured since she didn't look totally apalled, she didn't care. He waited for her to get in, the smile never leaving his face either.

"Why are you sorry? You're the one who saved me."
She smirked, eyes wandering over to him as he followed her to the passenger side and pulled open the door, eyes wide in a form of surprise. She didn't think gentlemen like this still existed, most didn't care about her, only themselves. Never in her craziest dreams did she ever think one would open the door for her or anything else of the sort. She curtsied to cover her confusion and suprise, laughing as she added words to the scene.
"Why thank you kind Sir, where might we be going on this wonderful evening?"
Orbs followed him as he traveled to the drivers seat, legs crossed at the ankle as she waited. one hand rested neatly in her lap, the other sitting near the center of the vehicle. Golden locks were pulled over her shoulder on one side so when the wind swept by it wouldn't totally ruin her hair style, hoping he wouldn't entirely care if it was a little rangled after the ride.

He shrugged softly. He was just a caring kind of guy, and never liked to hurt anyone purposely. So reminding her about her near death experience made him think that she would grow angry with him and then hate him. He was just like that. He cleared the thoughts away from his mind and closed the door after she was seated, then went to his side. He opened the door and got in, closing it and then looking at her seatbelt. His dog had been in the car since he was a puppy, and had successfully chewed all of the seatbelts out. He smiled sheepishly.
Sorry about that. My dog likes to chew things, so there aren't any seatbelts. I'll get them replaced soon though...Oh..and It's a surprise. I can tell you that I figured we'd start out with dinner and then go to the beach..and then the surprise.
He told her somewhat mischeviously and then smiled at her, before starting the jeep and putting it in reverse. He pulled easily out of her driveway, then shifted and started driving out, skirting around some of the debris in the road. Trailer parks weren't that bad really, and some trailers were probably nicer then his apartment, which was pretty decrepid looking. He probably wouldn't take her there for a while. He looked over at her as the pulled out of Sunnydale Acres, then back to the road, waiting for her reply.

She smiles as she glanced at the missing seatbelts, a portion on hers dangling next to the seat. Teeth marks shredded the ends, brows rising in unison as he explained before she could release a whitty comment, thoughts following the reason subconsciously. "Well least I know it wasn't you." Once her skull cavity processed the idea, she laughed silently, the laugh following his last words so it filled the silence. Dazzling smile was emitted after a moment, caculatying on what would be appropriate to follow such a devious idea. He intended to follow her remark back at the beach, to surprise her, which would make the evening all the more exciting and entertaining to the female.
"I don't mind, its cool, makes the ride more thrilling."
Eyelid closed quickly in a wink before she continued, the pause in her words barely audible to the listener.
"A surprise eh? Not very people would've actually remembered my suggestion from the beach."
Hand remained in her lap and the center area as he began the travels outside of the trailer centre`. Eyes drifting in his direction every chance he would not notice, cheeks growing red as she thought he caught her practically staring in his direction, cranium instantaniously darting in the opposite direction.

He smiled as he heard her comment about no seatbelts. It was slightly embarrassing really. When people got into his jeep and they reached for their seatbelt, they found nothing there, and they would pull and swing until actually turning in their seat to look why it wasn't there. It always happened that way. He sighed softly and then kept driving, smiling again at her next comment.
Yeah, well..I guess I pick up on those kinds of things...
He said jokingly and then kept driving. The ride was long, but he didn't really mind. SHe was fun and uplifting, and it was like for a moment he could forget all of his pain. He wouldn't tell anyone, anyone he didn't trust anyway. And he wouldn't tell unless he was asked. He kept things inside like that. He took a deep breath and kept driving, sometimes going quick on the less trafficed roads. He didn't really know what else to talk about.

She smiled, eyes drifting occasionally from the scenery to him, smile never completely fading throughout the ride. Cranium tilted back onto the headrest, sandy locks trailing softly behind pulled by the wind the car created. Mind puzzled in possible topics to converse about, not really wanting silence to fall between them tonight, creating an uneasiness. The state of his Jeep was much better than hers which could be found at the hawaii impound, hood folded and windshild shattered. Skull shook to rid herself of the image, remembering her abandoned sister, wishing she could write to her or something but that would risk her capture as well. She would contact her as soon as she reached the legal age, so she could regain her from the orphanage if she was not already adopted into another home. She knew a foster family would probably be better for the troublesome teen over her older sister, the memories only arrousing some sorrow within the female, fighting to forget it once again until something remembered her.
"How long have you been here?"
The basic question right? Yeah it could serve as a conversation starter, if he was willing to make it one as well. Hands lifted after a moment and repositioned themselves, one gripping the door handle loosly, a habit she would eventually have to break. I would make others usually think she was nervous or afraid of their driving which was usually the opposite.

The light turned green and he drove forward, but another car had decided to gothrough their red light. Luckily he was paying attention and he braked quickly, a small swear coming forth from his lips. He turned quickly and pulled over, his hands gripping the wheel tightly, his face pale as flashbacks from the accident came back to him. But he had to make sure she was alright. WIthout moving his head or gaze, he questioned her quietly.
A-are you alright?
He said to her, worried about her but not able to clear the repeating image playing in his mind. It just kept coming back and he closed his eyes, trying to release himself from the terrible scene. Piercing screams and blaring horns, and the look in their eyes. He opened his eyes quickly, and then only heard the accident. He waited for her reply, still trying to get his hands off the steeringg wheel but not able to move.

High pitched scream escaped parted lips as another vehicle sped before the nose of the jeep, Figure thrown forward slightly because of the break lockup frmo other cars along with their own. Heart began to race as she returned to the soft passenger seat, silently scolding herself for screaming in such a minor scene. Her small accident with her car replayed through her mind as if it occured once more, cranium twisted rapidly, questioning the arrival of her past occuring several times in the last few mniutes. If her eyes were located on the rode rather than him she would have been capible of bracing herself, however it was done and over, remaining in silence as he swore at the other driver she presumed. His gands encircled the wheel with uneasiness, his tenseness causing her to be slightly more nervous but his question made her force herself to relax. Eyes drifted back in his direction as she tossed back her mangled blond mane, his strong arms not releasing their grip on the whell as she resettled once the motion of the vehicles subdued.
"Yeah sorry, don't worry about me, are you alright though? Is there anything I can do?"

Her scream made him want to cry out himself. Not in fear, but in frustration of having every little thing remind him of the accident. He finally was able to release his hold on the sterring wheel, but he continued staring forward, his face paler then normal, still worried for her though. Hearing her words he nodded solemnly. He needed air, he needed to be out of the metal contraption that had murdered his family. He apologized quickly to her and scrambled out, almost getting hit by the oncoming traffic. But he kept himself out of harms way and shut the door, going to the back of the jeep and sitting on the curb. He was so embarrassed by his basic shock of the whole thing, and he couldn't recall any of his med training on how to treat shock. He tried calming himslef but the visions kept coming back and strongly. He never thought he was affected this much by it. He hadn't cried at all since their deaths, and he wasn't now, but he was visibly upset. He finally lowered his head into his hands and thought to himself why everything had to go wrongly in his life. She probably hated him and didn't want anything to do with him now, and he didn't blame her. He was practically having a melt down. Why did everything have to come flooding back to him now? Why not some other time when it wasn't this important, this special. He sighed in frustration and sat quietly, waiting for the pain and fear to leave him.

Brow rose in a slight confusion as he apologised to her and scrambled out of the car, quickly regaining the frown and deeply worried eyes. Fingers curled around the door handle and pulled open the door, striding slowly over to the male, feeling as though her shock had cause his own. She was unaware of his past, not realising what she was truly doing as she rested a arm around his shoulders, only wanting to calm him. Eyes occasionally flicked up to reassure herself that the presence of the vehicle was still there, realising that she had left the passenger door wide open. She cared little about that now, fearing a panic or anxiety attack to arrive and course through the males veins. She ignored the stares of passing cars, his eyes leaking an unmanageable amount of fright, the source and reason not uncovered to the Riana. He seemed to possess more problems that what appeared on the surface just as she, having more in common than she could've ever believed.
"Chase, calm down, relax. Its alright, everything's fine. What's wrong?"
She just scratched the surface to his trust as of yet, the evening important to them both or so it seemed. Was this just another pathetic attempt to get rid of her? Or was he truly in need or a comfortine human, one he could rely on without too much worry. She sighed and her attention was locked on him, obsorbing his features along with trying to comfort him.
