The breeze blew his wispy brown hair as he made his way along the beach. It was late evening and only a few other beings were about. He felt the evening sun lightly burning his skin on the areas his muscle shirt didn't cover. His blue/gray eyes glinted in the fading light of the day. His mind was occupied with thoughts of his little sister Marie. She was 14 and had been out of control after she had been running with the wrong crowd. She had just recently found out she was pregnant and his grandmother had kicked her out. He sighed deeply as he thought about the situation. Naturally, he couldn't keep his little sister...he was in the Army, and was only 23. His brow furrowed, his eyes locked on something far in the distance, though he had no clue of what it was, he was absorbed in the problem he wished would leave him. He was clad in a muscle shirt and basketball shorts. He made his way towards the water as he kicked off his Nike Shox and waded in up to his knees. The water was cool and clear...he wished the water would carry away the problems consuming him. He sighed deeply as he made his way back up onto the sand. He found a nice spot and sat down, running a hand through his dark hair. He chewed his bottom lip in thought as he watched the orange sun fall behind the horizon.

No bathing suit covered the female as she made her way onto the sand, instead she wore her typical outfit. What, you really expect her to swim? No, not a chance. And anyways, Ally didn't know how to swim. Yeah, she had been in water before, but it was either by accident, with someone by her side to help her, or in water shallow enough to only reach her waste. So, in other words, she didn't swim. Nor did she want to. She saw no point to swimming. In her mind, why swim when you have land? I mean what's so special about the water, anyways? But, of course, those were only Ally's stubborn thoughts. Yes, she was stubborn, at least most of the times. But it wasn't like many stayed around long enough to figure that out about her: not many even risked talking to her, period. Well, you couldn't say that bothered her much, even though she wasn't fond of it. Ally was personable, despite what her 'dress code' may say about her. Whoever said stereotypes were right, anyways?
Ally lowered herself onto the generally dry sand, pulling up the back of her pants to assure herself no unwanted skin showed. She was like that: despite the fact some of her outfits were revealing she didn't like showing off much skin. No, more like she didn't want to show off skin in outfits where skin wasn't supposed to show. She thought that to be pointless, all it made you look like was a slut. And she, of course, was the kind of girl who'd be more likely to punch someone than be called a slut. But that was just her. Today was a generally modest day, if you could even say that about her. A pair of black jeans were worn, just plain, black jeans, with a long sleeve black shirt. Of course the shirt wasn't just plain: you couldn't expect her just to go without modifying a shirt to fit her standards. No, instead there were rips in the sleeves, making a straight line down the outside of her arm. She liked how the outfit turned out, despite the fact it was a little too concealing for the weather. But she ignored the warmness, deciding it was pointless to fuss about something her stupidity brought.
The female sighed, fidgeting slightly. She sat with her knees drawn up to her chest, arms wrapped around her legs. Hair was kept down, colorful locks draping over her shoulders. Jade eyes watched the waves, gaze occasionally lowering to the nearly white sand. A beach was something new to her, at least the water part; there was nothing new about sand to her. But the water was, and she found it generally pretty. But everything was pretty to her. Ok, most things. The female's attention was taken from the waves as something moving caught her gaze, eyes moving to the figure of a male. She simply stared, something she prooved to do often.

His gaze remained firm on the seemingly invisible point miles out into the cirulean water. His problematic thought wasn't leaving anytime soon, but it was dimming, bit by bit. He cracked his nuckles as he lifted his built body from the sand and dusted himself off. He brushed his hair from his face and gave a second glance at his point of interest miles out.
There was something about Danny that stirred questions inside people...though nobody knew what it was...neither did he. He had a different side, often thought to have been injected by his past, that only a select few humans knew, including his family and ex-girlfriend.
He noticed movement nearby, although not quite sure what had stirred it. He glanced around and noticed a slim figure of a female body a few yards away. He caught sight of a stare, but thought ntohing. He would pass the female on his way to somewhere else...though at the time, the 'somewhere else' was a mystery...just another spot down the beach.

The female gave a light, barely audible yawn, covering her mouth to silence it. Fatigued was the last thing she was, she had enough energy to last a while at the moment. She was simply bored. Oh, such an awful thing boredom was. She felt like conversing, though there was no one to converse with...save the male she had been watching moments before. True, she could always be a random, little bitch and start randomly talking, though for the moment she decided against it. Yet that was just for the moment. Ally bit her lip lightly, shaking her head lightly as the light zephyr blew her oddly colored hair into her vision. She ignored it, though: having her hair in her eyes bothered her none for the moment. It never really bothered her; that was something she didn't know why it was so. It just was. But, really, was that piece of information even good for anything? She guessed it wasn't.
Ally turned her attention back on the male, gaze settling on him for a moment. It was the 'curious' type of stare, not the 'oh-my-gawd-he's-so-hott' type of stare. Yes, she knew the difference between the two stares...if there even was a difference. Well, of course there was, one was lustful and the other wasn't. Of course her looks weren't lustful. At least she didn't think they were. No, no, instead she was just wondering simple shit like what he was doing here and all that jazz. You know, the typical shit. Ally let out a sigh through her nose, shaking her head lightly as lips parted. No, she couldn't keep quiet for long. Instead of keeping silence, Ally gave generally soft (but completely audible) words to the male. It was a simple greeting, simple and short. But did anyone expect her to give a long greeting? I mean how long was a greeting supposed to be? Was there a word limit? There wasn't one for her; it was often that she didn't even speak. But that isn't a greeting, is it? Anyways, she gave him a generally short greeting.
"Hey there."

SHe wanted to get out, wanted to get away from all the troubles that being a woman in the army caused. SHe pushed past them though, ignoring that and just doing her job, doing what she had to do to serve her country. And she did it well. She may not be a high ranking officer, but she could fly a plane just as well as any man could, and she could go into combat without a second thought, although that fear was always billowed deep down inside of her, inside of everyone. It was a fact of life. You were going into a battle, with gun shots and explosions and tanks, of course you could die. But you would die with honor, and that was alright with her. Not that she wanted to die anytime soon. She was only twenty years old, she had a long life ahead of her, and she wanted to progress.
Walking along the beach brought her peace and serenity, and for a moment the images of dying men and the sounds of rounds being fired escaped her. It was a relief really. Her last war had been hard on her, becasue she had lost a great friend. But she tried to forget and move on. Right now she wore a simple pair of khaki capirs, a white tank top and her black flip flops. Her hair was down and blowing in the wind, and try as she might, she could not tame it behind her ear. She sighed and gave up, letting it fly into her eyes and face. It would only blow back again. She walked forward easily, enjoying the feeling of the sun warming her, tanning her already darkened skin. Her eyes squinted slightly to block the sunlight that streamed down, and her hands came from inside her pockets, hanging by her sides. She saw the two conversing in the distance, and she walked forward. No one said she couldn't walk on the ebach, so if they didn't want her here, too bad for them. It was a free country, she helped make it that way. A person could tell she was involved in something that required a lot of physical activity because of the shape she was in. Her arms held muscles, but nothing that was overly large, and where her tank top rode up a little, a toned abdomen was seen. SHe pulled it down and sat aways from them, not disturbiing them or anything. She brought her knees up to her chest and watched the water as it came up, almost touching her, but then retreated to back where it had come from. She took a deep breath and rested her chin on her knees.

Danny yawned impatiently as he took a few steps. The girl's words caught him off guard. He turned to face her. "Hi." he said, words soft, almost in a whisper. The exchange of words had surprised him...he hadn't figured she would speak to him.
He noticed another being out of the corner of his eye...a girl sitting nearby. He offered a friendly smile, being the friendly person he was...

((ahhh, so many people in the army, it's intimidating for Ally xD))
Head cranked to the side as the site of yet another was seen, the female biting her lip lightly. Eyes took in the frame of an obviously fit female, Ally only compared herself to the other. Ally's frame was light, she wasn't heavy muscled. Not at all. It was rare when Ally got the littlest bit of excersize, well, other than walking around pointlessly. That was something she did often, though other than that she was completely unathletic. You couldn't say that bothered her, though. She never wanted to be athletic, if she wanted to be she would've worked out. But this female had never stepped into a real gym, you know, none other than those at the schools she had attended. Never had her hands gripped a weight. Nor was there any desire for that. Wow, she was unathletic, big deal. She didn't want to be strong, even though it'd help her put up a fight. But she even managed herself quite nicely in those, you know, mainly because she wasn't the type of girl who got in a cat fight. No, in her mind a real fight wasn't clawing at other girls. It was throwing punches and kicking. Now that was a real fight.
Her attention was put back on the male as he spoke, she gave a light smile in his direction. A nod was given to proove she had heard him, even though his lyrics were barely audible. She caught them, nonetheless. No words of her own were given, what else was there to give? Unless a conversation was nessicary, she hadn't planned on saying any more. Of course he could speak again, but she expected none of the type. Instead of saying anymore, Ally casted her gaze straight ahead, the light smile remaining on her lips.

((heh, apparently. That's ok, though.))
"Sure."
She said, cocking her head to the side slightly. Gaze was kept on the water, her head remaining straight. Ally nodded slowly, pale lips parting once again. So, apparently he would talk. It wasn't like it'd matter if he hadn't said anything. She would've just kept looking out at the water, you know, being bored. Oh, such a thing boredom is. Especially when you have nothing to do to to help it. But if you did that wouldn't be boredom, would it? Wouldn't it be laziness? No, it'd be both, because you're bored, but too lazy to fix it. But, anyways, she was the first one, you know, bored without anything to do to stop it. Unless possibly talking. Sure, that's work, wouldn't it? She opened her lips, released completely audible words.
"I'm Ally.
Yes, she gave out her name. What, it wasn't like that was a bad thing. Even though the last thing she needed was a stalker. But giving out your name wouldn't bring a stalker, would it? She guessed it wouldn't, I mean, it's just an introduction. All she did was introduce herself. It wasn't like that was a bad thing. No, not at all.

(((Hey, I'm going to create another female charrie. Do you wanna rp Dean with her?)))
The words stopped him as he turned around, his eyes on the girl sitting nearby. He turned around slowly and took a few steps near her. "Danny." he said clearly. He smiled politely as he cracked his nuckles out of boredom mostly and then awaited the female's next words.

Shane caught the guy looking over out of the corner of her eye. She saw his smile and returned it slightly, to be friendly. She didn't want to interupt their conversation, because that would be kind of rude. She took a deep breath and kept staring, wondering when something interesting was going to spark into her life. SHe didn't really know, but hoped it happened soon. The army was everything to her really, and it was so interesting and filled with action and surprises. Life without it..seemed dull and boring. She brought herself back from her daydreams when she heard a voice, but it was the two still conversing. She saw the guy turn, but figured he was walking away from her and directing his words to the other girl. So she sat still, not really responding out of confusion, to tell the truth. Was he talking to her or the other girl? She would find out soon enough.

((oooh, sure, of course. That actually sounds like a great idea. I'd love to rp Dean with her))
Ally's lips curved into a generally noticable smile, her eyes turning back to the male. She nodded as he introduced himself, lifting a hand to her face to brush the bright colored strands from her face. The purple was darker than usual, due to the fact she had only dyed it a few days before. It'd fade out eventually, though. It always did. Eventually all the colors would either fade out to gray or a blond-ish hue. So, because she disliked faded hair, she redyed the colors about every month. Not the best for her hair, but it survived. It wasn't like it was breaking off or anything, nor did she think it ever would. The colors had been the same for a while, so if her hair hadn't died yet she doubted it ever really died. Ally nodded again, parting lips so she could speak once more.
"Nice t' meet yah, Danny."
Words were completely audible, a somewhat soft tone added to them. Her head turned to the other female, giving her a light smile. Ally was getting into a more social mood now, which would probably be likely with her planned actions. She figured it msut be somewhat lonely to be sitting in silence, so she decided to speak a greeting. Yes, yes, she just had to talk. Call it her conscience coming into play, well, it was. But that was Ally for you all. The female parted her lips, giving a greeting to the other girl.
"Hey there."

Shane lowered her head a moment, blocking the sun oout for a moment. She took a deep breath and heard a voice, SHe looked over and then smiled in greeting, giving a slight wave as well. She was alright with making aquaintances, but it wasn't her strong suit. SHe preferred on her own sometimes, unless with the opposite sex. She wasn't good with other woman, even if it did sound somewhat weird. She saw the guy come over and she looked up, smiling at him. She could talk to him easier.
Hi yourself...

Seeing his extended hand, she stood, reaching with her own to shake his. As she heard his job, her eyes widened a bit, and then she smiled brightly.
Well..I'm with the Army...I'm Shane. It's nice to meet you Danny.
She told him happily, a little surprised she was meeting another armed citizen. She waited for his reply quietly.

She couldn't wipe the smile from her face yet, and when she heard his words, she nodded in agreement. Most thought a woman in the army didn't belong, but she showed them all she was just as good as them. She looked down a moment and then back up.
It is...so..how long have you been here?

(((Okies....I put he was in the Marines earlier, but he's actually in the army...sorry. Got confused.)))
He smiled softly. "About a week, maybe a couple days over." he said, his tone firm, but friendly. His verbal and physical communication had been changed to firm brisk words and tough actions, but his sweet personality hadn't been broken out of him by the Army Drill Sergeants. He still smiled, still laughed, and still went out.

((It's fine..lol)) She nodded. He was interesting already. SHe wanted to know more about him and what he did exactly and maybe if she ever fought with him. She smiled.
That's good. I just got here yesterday. I don't really know what there is to do around here.
Her voice held no tremor or shyness. But it wasn't angry or cold either. It showed she had been in the army and she wasn't intimidated or afraid, and she could be somewhat rebellious. But she waited for his answer quietly for once.

He smiled. "There's some clubs and stuff....a nice park..." he said softly. "And then I leave every few days and go out to the base nearby and fly a little. I'm a pilot, afterall." he said with a laugh.

She smiled and nodded. Her father had taught her how to fly when she was younger, after she had gotten her driver's license for some reason. She was good at it, but it never occurred to her to become a pilot. SHe missed it though, more then anything. It gave her such a sense of freedom that sometimes she forgot all her troubles and everything was alright again. She shook herself slightly and then smiled up at him.
Yeah..I miss flying a lot. But the town sounds nice. I guess I'll have to go check it out some time.
She told him happily. Once she was done conversing with him, that's what she would probably do. Except she would saddle up her horse and take him around. She loved riding, and wouldn't be able to survive without it. But flying was just the same and she really wanted to be in a plane again, but there was no where where she could go to get one. She waited for his reply.

"Yeah...I haven't flown since I arrived. Not yet...I just got back from Iraq." he said with a smug smile. He didn't like Iraq, not even a little. But he was doing what he felt had to be done...defend the country. "I'm sure if you check at the base you can get up somehow." he said with confidence. He glanced down at his watch. "Shoot...I gotta go. It was nice meeting you!" he said, waving as he back stepped.
