His muscles weren't tense, nor loose either. His best, and only friend in this place walked at his side. Rex, his canine crime-fighting partner, stood still at his side. The dog was a massive German Shepard/Husky mix. The dog was gorgeous, and harmless until he was told not to be. The young man walked quietly through the park, ocassionally muttering to Rex, keeping the dog's attention focused on walking instead of nearby squirrels and people. The dog loved people, but never broke command. Words were all that were needed to control him. Jason was clad in jeans and a tee-shirt, his usual dress. In his opposite hand he carried his black police jacket. His dark hair was covered by a baseball cap and his grey blue eyes showed no emotion.

Shane was trying to keep herself busy, and not get lost in her past, all the wars and fighting. It was somewhat difficult for her to black out, especially after losing her best friend in the last one. She would never forgive that person for killing such a young man. She took a deep breath and kept walking quietly, a small strand of hair coming into her vision. She tucked the wavy piece behind her ear and looked around with her piercing eyes. There seemed to be only two other inhabitants of the park, a guy and his dog. She should have brought Dakota, her female husky that was full of life and energy. But she hadn't, and she was alone. What fun.
Shane wore a simple pair of black sweatpants with a white tank top and a black zip up hoodie over it. Her baseball cap was black, and had a white nike sign on the front, and she just now slid it onto her head to cover her blonde wavy hair. It was up in a ponytail and she liked it better that way. It showed her sporty and almost younger side. She kept walking and was absentminded, so she wasn't paying attention to anything. Feeling herself collide with another object or person, and instantly stopped herself. She noticed the guy and his dog.
I'm so sorry. I wasn't paying attention, I've been absent minded lately..I hope you are not angry...

The dog yelped, not out of pain, but out of fright. He looked up at the girl, wanting attention, but kept still and at Jason's side. Jason smiled. "Oh, it's fine. We're alright. Are you okay?" he said softly. His eyes were soft and forgiving. He extended his hand. "Jason." he said with firm words, but kind words. He offered a light smile as he bent down to pick up the police jacket he had dropped.

((It's fine lol)) As she heard the dog yelp she pretty much cringed, hoping it wasn't she that had hurt him. But as he turned to look at her, she realized his eyes weren't filled with pain. She relaxed slightly and heard the young man's words and she smiled a little, still feeling extremely badly. She heard his name and she slipped her hand into his, shaking firmly. She was part of the army, of course she would introduce herself properly. She let go of his hand as he bent down to get his jacket.
Are you sure? Yes..I'm fine thank you. I'm Shane..
She said slightly faster then she normally did. But she wanted to make sure he didn't hate her. That's all she needed, a new person being hated by people she didn't even know. She waited quietly, smiling slightly.

He laughed lightly, taking his jacket. "Oh, I'm fine, and so is Rex. he said politely. He smiled a friendly smile. "Nice to meet you Shane." he said, his tones soft.
